I had been talking to this agency even before the guys’ problem arose, and I finally made the decision to pursue the venture, seven months since the happening began, after thinking about it and discussing it with my family and those around me.

Singer come actor Park Yoochun has become a blue chip of the CF industry.

110429 JYJ sues Japanese agency over cancellation of concert

JYJ has filed a lawsuit in Japan against their management company AVEX Entertainment for interfering with their attempt to hold a charity concert.

JYJ, a boyband formed by former TVXQ members Kim Jae-joong, Kim Jun-su, and Park Yoo-chun after they filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment for unjust contract, had planned a charity concert to aid earthquake-affected areas in Japan. However, the concert’s venues have canceled their contracts with JYJ after AVEX allegedly pressured them.

JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment and the concert organizer ZAK Corporation have filed two provisional dispositions against AVEX with the Tokyo District Court.

AVEX released an official statement, in which they do not deny the action. “Our company holds the exclusive rights for JYJ’s activities in Japan, and we have just taken actions against the infringement rightfully and properly,” AVEX said. They also claimed that they have received blackmails and threats due to the matter.

AVEX signed a contract with three members of JYJ in early 2010 after JYJ filed the lawsuit with SM Entertainment. A few months later, AVEX announced the “suspension of activities” of three members, arguing JYJ should refrain from promoting in Japan while legal proceedings against SM Entertainment were under way in Korea.

This “suspension of activities” has kept JYJ from conducting any promotional activities in Japan. Even after the suspension, however, AVEX has continued to make profits with products such as DVDs and JYJ footage.

Due to their ongoing lawsuit with their management company, JYJ has had difficulties in their activities in Korea as well. They have released an album, held concerts globally, and acted in dramas and musicals, but have had trouble getting airtime on television entertainment shows.

Another pop group, KARA, who also had three members embroiled in a dispute with their management company DSP for nearly 3 months, recently announced they have resolved the disagreement and will continue their career with DSP.

JYJ’s Kim Junsu talked of how he felt when he was chosen as the most vocally talented idol star.

On the 25th, cable channel ENT’s ‘Entertainment Station-The Interview’ aired the interview they held at JYJ’s cosmetic brand photoshoot.

During the interview, Yoochun complimented Junsu as he said, “I read an article that Junsu was chosen as the most vocally talented idol singer,” and “Though he is a fellow member and friend, I always thought results like this were expected and obvious because I’ve been hearing Junsu’s voice for so long. He’s truly amazing.“

110428 JYJ Fans Publish Advertisement Satirising JYJ’s Inability To Appear On Programs

The fans of group JYJ have once again released an advertisement, satirising JYJ’s current situation.

Headed by fansite DNBN, they gathered 20 Million won in funds, and put up an advertisement in Moogaji, headed “Singing on Television? You?”

The said advertisment talks about a fictitious book titled “101 Ways To Remove JYJ From Programs” and describes their current inability to appear on television programs, while mocking JYJ, who is current locked in a battle with SME, as “Artist who have forgotten about place B,” attracting a lot of attention.

At the moment, although JYJ, who are engaged in a legal battle with SM Entertainment, are active in the fields of musicals and dramas, they have not been able to appear on music programs. The only time the trio has performed on a program under the name JYJ was during the KBS Drama Awards at the end of last year.

Concerning the Charity Event by JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN

There was an announcement on April 5 this year, that JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN (exclusive artists of our company, hereinafter named “JJY”) will hold a charity support event (hereinafter called “this event”) for the Tohoku Kanto Earthquake Disaster.

This event was planned without receiving any permission from our company, which holds the exclusive management rights for JJY in Japan.

Our company has protested multiple times to the organizer ZAK Corporation (hereinafter named “ZAK Corp”) and JJY’s Korean management company, C-JeS ENTERTAINMENT, Co.ltd (hereinafter named “C-Jes Corp” ). However, they have not listened to our protests, and forced through with the ticket sales unilaterally.

Concerning our company’s above handlings, we have received many comments and requests from JJY fans that this event should push through. Or, that since the sole purpose is for charity, we should especially dissolve the exclusive contract. On the other hand, we have received protests from multiple antisocial forces. 

Furthermore, we were under duress that our president should be harmed, etc.

However, our company holds the exclusive rights for JJY’s activities in Japan, and we have just taken actions for the infringement rightfullly and properly.

Additionally, as we have announced in our press release of September 16 last year, there remains to be compliance problems such as the criminal record of the President of C-JeS in assaulting/blackmailing an artist (of whom he was in charge of). Moreover, the exclusive contract declaratory judgment is still going on in Korea. Therefore, we have no other choice than to suspend the activities of JJY until these are settled.

In spite of the above circumstances, ZAK Corp and C-JeS have in their joint names, and, as ZAK Corp by itself, have filed two provisional dispositions against our company to the Tokyo District Court, claiming that our company’s handlings have no legitimate basis.

Hereafter, our company will contend our legitimacy at the judicature.

Our company does not think that the JJY members themselves are aware of everything that is happening.
Our company wishes that the JYJ members will understand the situation correctly and the real intention of our company.
 

Additionally, as we have been consistently commenting, our company long for the day where the compliance and legal problems in Korea will be resolved, and that our company can once again manage JJY. Furthermore, to resume the artists’ activities as Tohoshinki . We will do our best in the future.

For the fans who support JJY, we understand that we are making all of you worry.

Firstly, I sincerely thank you for your unending love and cheers for JYJ.

Despite a situation where JYJ was unable to do activities in Japan due to their Avex contract suspension, JYJ’s worldwide album as well as activities have received great support, and I am constantly grateful.

Due to the Tohoku Earthquake that occurred last month, while the whole Japan was struck by grief, JYJ grieved as well, with the emotions of a family.

So, for the sake of repaying everybody for their love, we planned a charity concert in hopes that we would recover from the Tohoku Earthquake as soon as possible. However, even though we pushed forward with the thoughts of wanting to do whatever we can, regardless of our intention, the cancellation of the concert, as well as other troubles occurred.  The tickets had already been sold, and to everybody who had been looking forward to the concert, we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

When I thought about the Japanese fans who had been waiting for JYJ’s performance for a long time, I decided that we cannot showcase a slipshod performance. We considered cancelling the performance, but to keep the promise that we made to the fans who have been silently waiting and believing in JYJ, we decided that the performance will go on.

I will do my utmost to ensure that the performance be held as planned.
For the Japanese fans, this concert is not just a one-time event, please take this to be a sign that JYJ will be starting activities in Japan from now on.
 

Therefore, the location for this concert may be rather poor, and may be lacking. Please believe in our sincerity, and we hope that everyone will be able to support us.

From now on, JYJ will not give in to such pressures, as long as it is a place where the Japanese fans can listen to JYJ’s music, we will be there.
 

For the sake of repaying the trust of the Japanese fans, I will fight with all I have so that they can once again listen to JYJ’s music and stories.

110428 Junho – JYJ Junsu’s Twin Brother To Debut In Japan In August

It was revealed that Junho, the older twin brother of JYJ’s Junsu will be making his Japan debut in August 2011. Also, a photobook will be released in July, before his debut, and it was announced that he will be performing at “Girl’s Award” on 29 April.

Although you can feel the image of his younger brother Junsu from his looks, standing at a height of 188cm, with body proportions that were honed from his days as a baseball player, Junho shows a distinctly different charm as compared to his younger brother. In 2008, Junho appeared in a Korean variety show, and attracted attention for his activities as a CF model.

After being forced to retire from baseball due to an injury, he made his official debut in China in 2010. With the announcement, he held debut showcases all over Asia, including Japan. In the Chinese music industry, he won the Best Newcomer Award for the “2009 Music King – World Chinese Music Awards Ceremony” In March 2010, he released his first album “Nothing to lose” in China, and sold approximately 50,000 copies, going Platinum. In the same year, he also held fan-meetings all over China, and recorded a total audience of 20,000 people, with his fanclub in China boasting over 100,000 people. Also, in a popular Chinese mini-blog service, his follower numbers are currently at around 200,000 people.

In the meanwhile, with the intent to expand the locations of his activities, he signed a contract with Avex, which led to his Japan debut.

His Japanese debut single, which is scheduled to be released on 3 August, will be an original song, and the first time he has ever sung in Japanese. It will be a dance number that shows his well trained figure. The recording of this single will be done in Tokyo. Junho said, “I want to make a great piece of work together with the many staff,” and, although he had a lot of difficulty singing his first Japanese song, he had the right attitude and worked hard throughout the night for his recording.

The pictures of male group member JYJ Kim Jaejoong, actor Song Jong-Gi, and Im Joo-hwan traveled together to Busan were revealed.

Park Yuchun recovering from enteritis… & shows off great power in commercial

Singer and actor Park Yuchun (JYJ) is resting after suffering from enteritis (intestinal inflammation).

During a phone conversation with OSEN on the 27th, JYJ’s rep stated “Because of enteritis, Park Yuchun visited the hospital on the 25th and is resting at home since then. Honestly, I have yet to meet them.

However, this time, for  the JYJ 3hree Voices II ‘s soundtrack production, I watched their video countless times.

While they visited places in Japan that were memorable to them,  they spoke plainly about their honest feelings.

And so, I came to like them.

Therefore, I played the piano with a heart full of emotions.

On the 22nd, the ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ DVD series (Part 1 and 2) were released in Japan and ranked 4th and 5th on the Oricon DVD Daily Charts.

The Japanese version of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ was released in a format of 2 DVDs with Park Yoochun’s name in the title and seems to be experiencing hot popularity in the country with it ranking high on the charts so early on.

Yuchun looked his best when he was wearing the vest and black shirt during his solo I Love You
I honestly think that the way his solo was choreographed was meant to literally kill all his fans. He started with the dancers in the cage, then proceeded to tease the whole stadium when he touched the dancers or rather made it looked like he touched them. Then he walked seductively to the centre of the T stage. What a tease!
Then in the middle of the stage when the 4 dancers appeared, he let them grab and caress him from behind while he lets out his soft falsetto voice singing I Love You

And with that act, I swear most of the girls sitting behind me just died. Director Kim Jae Joong and Yuchun orchestrated this seductive act like a pro. And it did not help chunsas at all that Yuchun was all sweating during his solo

Yuchun is my bias. Made me wonder why on earth did I fly all the way to Taipei to see him break my heart into pieces? He is indeed the ultimate bad boy of KPOP. Sigh…I did the same thing in November last year..

I don’t understand a word of Korean but Un Named Song Part 1 showed me that you don’t have to understand the language to connect with the song. Listening to the song made me feel so sad. In fact the whole stadium was bewitched with the intensity of Yuchun’s rap. His voice was husky but demanding. And when you hear both Junsu and Jae’s soft and beautiful voice adding on to the song, tears simply flows down your cheeks.

Most of the Korean fans sitting around me were sobbing. I guess it’s even sadder when you can understand every single word of their outpouring of pain and anger. That song was clearly one of the most climatic highlights of the concert. Fans clapped and chanted approvingly when Yuchun screamed out the word “JYJ”.

All three played their role in this song so effectively.
Junsu headlined Fallen Leaves beautifully and all three were amazing in terms of their vocal harmony in this song. The lighting during Fallen Leaves was the most impressive because it was like all three were singing amongst the stars in the sky

Junsu’s singing….there is no words to describe how captivating it was.
I love listening to Jae when he sang Nine and In Heaven. During the opening verse of In Heaven, his pleading voice simply pierced through your heart. I honestly felt like I can feel his pain and the chorus – oh my goodness, it was so beautiful. With this song, I can now stop repeating Bolero and Love is The Ice. Jae really nailed it when he composed this song. This time tears were flowing because I was so happy that they have finally found their BIG song.

I love all their new songs. Get Out is such a catchy song and I really like their dance steps. During You’re JYJ gave out multi-colours balls and Junsu was in charge of my side. He had serious fun as he was smiling while singing seeing fans trying so hard to catch the balls. Naughty Junsu!

A Boy’s Letter was so good…and I especially love Yuchun’s voice in this song. It was so husky and romantic. Thank god there were’nt any crazy dancers around. (Note to self : Mission to Taipei accomplished – this is one romantic love letter from Yuchun to me! eventhough I dont know the lyrics
Their performances of Mission, Pierrot, IDS, Aay Girl, and Empty were of course enjoyable to watch. Most fun? Be My Girl flash mob. The boys were smiling ear to ear just by watching fans trying to keep up with their dance steps.

Needless to say, Chajatta is kind of a JYJ anthem.

So I chant out their three names and the word Chajatta like a lost soul.

I must congratulate the Taiwanese fans. They really tried their best to give a unified support to JYJ. They passed around full paper instruction so that fans would know what to do during the concert. They even have it in multiple language. It was like a complete manual, I kid you not! It was heart warming to hear the chants of JYJ across the stadium. You hear only JYJ and their names. The red ocean was in full force and it was a beautiful sight.

And the post encore project was the best. Fans held up wordings of “JYJ The New Beginning or Let’s Restart and THANK YOU JYJ FROM TAIWAN FANS” while JYJ were walking on stage to give their customary goodbyes.

All 3 were visibly touched when they saw the messages. It was so touching to see them just standing speechless on stage in such a humble way while fans held up the paper. Their face expression were full of gratitude and I think Junsu and JJ cried

Then they gave their final bow and walked back to the back of the stage. From far, I can see JJ giving Junsu a congratulatory pat on the shoulder

I was lucky to be able to get Row 1 seats facing the left side of the T stage(Thank you Rachel from the bottom of my heart!) The boys were like 4 feet away from me so I can see their faces clearly.

JaeJoong is truly the most beautiful man on earth last night. Even those Elle videos and photos simply do not do him justice. Yuchun has an X factor that can turn any stadium upside down. Just a glimpse of the tattoo on his chest was too hot to handle. Junsu is so cute and adorable, he makes you want to pinch his cuddly cheeks. And he makes you all giddy ….yes Laura I know…

JYJ has the power to make you momentarily forget your bias each time they do their solo and when they sang together, their voices harmonized perfectly. You can’t help but to love all three even more.
I hope JYJ will get to perform at Jamsil Olympic Stadium again during finale concert in Korea. They are made to perform in a big stadium with thousands of fans chanting their names while they sing their beautiful songs. So that even the sky can hear our chants of Jae Joong, Yuchun, Junsu and JYJ….

p/s my Iphone was confiscated by the organiser while I was filming Yuchun dancing to the song Chajatta in front of me. I was ready to throw a fit but JaeJoong suddenly came to dance in front of me – so all my anger vaporised into thin air. Hahaha! I am sorry if I missed any parts of the concert.

I was lucky to have met Grace, Rachel, Mei Mei and many others during this Taipei concert. Thanks to Grace – I got to taste TiO! I look forward to a chance to meet other fandom mates soon!! I love you guys!

Which member out of the boy group JYJ has the prettiest skin?

On the afternoon of the 25th at cable channel ENT entertainment station – The interview”, JYJ were interviewed at the site of their advertisement filming for a cosmetic brand.

During this interview, the members choose Jaejoong to be the one out of JYJ the one with the best skin. Regarding this, Jaejoong said “Even though I would say it’s a little embarrassing that this is coming out of my mouth, but if my skin is not the best then bad things will happen.” “Seems like I’m boasting”. He was embarrassed while saying this.

110425 JYJ Taiwan Concert Successfully Ends – Getting Ready for USA

JYJ continued their successful Asia tour of the “JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011″ at the Taipei Arena on the 23rd.

The arena was filled with over 10,000 fans and they sang along to the new songs that JYJ had prepared for the concert – showing their passion for their idols.

Having JYJ self-composed songs as the main attraction, they sang “Empty”, “Be my girl”, “Be the one.” They also sang songs from their music essay “Their Rooms” – “Mission”, “Fallen Leaves” and “I.D.S.” New songs that were especially prepared for the world concert, such as “In Heaven” and “get out” were sung. In total, the concert track list contained about 20 songs.

The stage and all the special effects were once again directed and arranged by Kim Jaejoong, which meant that the cross-styled stage used in Thailand was also in the Taiwan concert. This allowed more interaction with the fans and Jaejoong added subtitles for Taiwanese fans to overcome the language barrier. Fans shouted, “JYJ A New Beginning!” during their encore of “In Heaven” to show their gratitude for the 120 minutes of wonderful entertainment.

Taiwanese media gave copious amount of coverage on JYJ’s concert in Taiwan. They heavily focused on Jaejoong’s role in stage direction and was intrigued by Jaejoong’s idea of a “creative challenge.” In response to this, famous Taiwanese star, Kris Shen, tweeted his views of JYJ’s concert after their performance and claimed that they were his idols.

After finishing the Taiwan stop of their tour, JYJ states, “It was the happiest two hours that we’ve spent with our dearly missed Taiwanese fans. We were touched that they were able to sing along with our new songs. We felt that we were able to reach a new level of completion through this concert. We’re happy and hope that everyone will look forward to our future performances.”

JYJ left Taiwan on the afternoon of the 24th – with hundreds of fans waiting for them in departure hall of the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

JYJ will start the North American leg of their world tour with Vancouver as their stop on May 20th, New Jersey on 22nd, LA on 27th and ending at San Jose on June 3rd.

Yoochun, from popular Kpop group Tohoshinki and JYJ attracted a lot of attention with his first drama acting challenge, “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” The full set of DVDs were released for sale on 22 April, and Song Joong Ki, who played the role of playboy “Gu Yongha” in the popular “Jjalgeum Quartet” talks about the difficulties during production as well as episodes with Yoochun.

Suwon Blue Wings FC MEN won 5-0, fueled by Kim Junsu’s hat trick.

On this day, the match between FC MEN and Incheon Design High School Girls’ Soccer Team ended in a victory of 5-0 for FC MEN, fueled by Kim Junsu’s hat trick, and Park Chungjin and Im Seulong’s goal. JYJ Kim Jaejoong, Perfect Suit-line “Makes Me Lose My Breath”

Male group JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) captured the female heart of Taiwan.
JYJ successfully held the second stop of “JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011” in Taipei Dome of Taiwan on the 23^rd with the theme of “Creative Challenge.”

In this concert, JYJ generated a heated response through varied stages that communicated with the audience. Not only that, JYJ satisfied the fans’ expectations through the stage directing and the sensuous performances which made the sensitivity of Kim Jaejoong, the executive director of the JYJ Asia World Tour, stand out.

JYJ’s sincere greetings to everyone’s parents with their influent Chinese

Korean group JYJ held their concert at Taipei Arena on the 23rd April and fans held on to their red lightsticks, presenting a magnificent red ocean. Having amazing charisma, from the time they announced the concert on April Fool’s Day to the sale of tickets was a mere 15 days. The tickets were 90% sold out, raking in 20 million with 19 songs performed. JYJ showed off their Chinese skills and greeted everyone with, “Hi everybody!”, “How is the health of everyone’s parents?”, receiving warm reponses.

After the settlement of JYJ and ex-agency’s lawsuit, (T/N: either a reporter’s error or probably the reference to the approved injunction.) JYJ embarked on a “JYJ World Tour Concert in 2011″ tour. Last year end, they came to Taiwan for a showcase and they have promised to come back for a concert as soon as possible. Within half a year, they fulfilled their promise and attracted thousands of fans.

Kim Jaejoong was in charge of concert directing and themed this concert with “Challenge of Creativity”. The air flown jumping stage lifts and the seven LED screens costs several millions. Director Kim arrived in Taiwan on the 19th and involved personally in the production meeting of the concert. He requested to enlarge the T stage, from a “small T” to a “big T”, in order to present more elaborate dance moves and to increase the interactions with the audiences, showing his meticulous sense.

JYJ opened the stage with “Empty” and showed their entertaining songs and dances. Yoochun greeted the fans, “Sorry that we only managed to come now!” As for Jaejoong, he greeted, “How is everybody? Really missed everybody. We will try our best to bring the best performance to everyone.” The concert ended with two encores.

JYJ was busy after reaching in Taiwan and thus did not managed to go sightseeing. Yoochun and Jaejoong went to a soya bean shop that was around the hotel around midnight after their rehearsal the night before and the photo was posted on the net. They left Taiwan in the afternoon today at 1pm on Asiana flight OZ712.

Korean group JYJ’s world concert tour was held in Taipei Arena last night. The great dance moves and singing by the three members of JYJ makes the full capacity of fans in the arena enjoyed the performance very well.

The minute the three members of JYJ suavely appeared on stage, fans went crazy. The three members danced and sang to their well-known songs. Along with the dazzling lightings, the charismatic stage and the arena that was filled with fans, the mood was high.

Due to the lawsuit dispute with their ex-agency, the three members left TVXQ and regrouped as JYJ. They came back to the music industry last October and this year they would be having their worldwide concert tour. The first two concerts in Bangkok has attracted 20000 fans, showing JYJ’s popularity.

The heartfelt performance of the singers and the listeners affection.

The most memorable and touching part of today’s concert was at last when the three of them held hands, facing the audience and bow to thank the fans. The expressions of the three when they saw the entire venue holding up banners with “JYJ Start Afresh”: Jaejoong’s eyes were red, tears at the corner in Junsu’s eyes and Yoochun’s determined eyes, you can deeply feel that they are sincerely thanking the fans and the crowd was supporting wholeheartedly.

On stage and off stage, at the instance when eyes met and emotions interact, it is not those usual concert when one just has the enjoyment of the audios or a joyful atmosphere, there is also the existence of most touching “love” between people.

We were so lucky, to be able to hear them sing, to witness them performing seriously on stage, listening to their marvellous voices, and yet experience the true feelings of the moment at the ending part….. This, probably the reason why we love them so much.

Lastly I want to shout out loudly: Park Yoochun, you performed excellently today, sang well, danced well, smiled well and the last sentence, Taiwan, JYJ thank all of you(if I did not remember wrongly), made me love you more!!
