On March 12th evening JYJ Park Yoochun tweeted, “Please do not follow me. Do not come in front of my house. Sasaeng!”. Later he also tweeted on the same day, “The people in front of my house… No matter how much I think about it, in my opinion they’re just the same like anti-fans. It’s been too much, I hate it.” he expressed his frustrated feeling.
Sasaeng are kind of fans who give up their own lives to intrude the privacy of celebrities, they follow each and every moves of their idols, even after the idols’ work schedule wrapped up. During recent years, sasaeng fans have been known to stalk around their artist in a group by taking taxis.
Last year JYJ Kim Jaejoong who had the same experience as his fellow member with sasaeng fans wrote in his twitter, “The sasaeng taxi that drives around an empty cab looking for celebrities and then contact fans to charge them is the more evil of society. If your children or family member did this… if only the knew how many people whose privacy got harmed,” he revealed his uncomfortable feeling with those sasaeng in taxis.
He also mentioned, “All of us five members, either at home or on street, they have seen us crying or suffering from accidents, but all we saw in the front glass of ‘sasaeng taxis’ were smiling faces.” and “let’s not do acts that shorten lives in the name of love,”
Towards these repeated warning of the artists to sasaeng fans’ act, netizens commented, “You guys are criminal, you don’t even sleep.” “It’s an illegal act,” “They must be mentally disturbed.”
