T/N: To explain the roles that Song Yoo Hyun and Cha Mu Won play in their dramas, there isn’t really an english equivalent but assuming “Chairman” = the guy who runs the entire company, they are probably the “Managing Directors” , ranked below the Chairman but above the Department Heads)

Are JYJ all acting as chaebol managing directors?

In “Protect the Boss,” Kim Jaejoong plays the role of DN Group’s 2nd Division Planning Department Head cum Managing Director. His character Cha Mu Won is engaged in a rivalry with Cha Ji Hun, his cousin and eldest son of DN Group’s Chairman.

Cha Mu Won manages all the operations in the company in place of the troublemaker Cha Ji Hun, is both capable and handsome, the always gentlemanly “Prince of the Financial World.”

In 2007, Kim Jaejoong participated in the movie “Postman to Heaven” with Han Hyo Joo, and following his role in the Japanese Fuji TV drama “Sunao Ni Narenakute” last year, this is his first time acting in a Korean drama.

110728 ‘Boss’ Kim Jaejoong With His Popularity Worth of 6.56 Tonnes‏

JYJ Kim Jaejoong have participated in his first domestic drama through ‘Protect The Boss’. He has previously debuted as an actor in Japan and fans embraced upon the news of his domestic drama. Seemingly to prove their support, fans engaged various ways to support Kim Jaejoong.

Kim Jaejoong (25) attended the production press conference of new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect The Boss’ on the 27th afternoon held at SBS building in Seoul.

Kim Jaejoong will be portraying the character of capable Financial Prince Cha Mu Won, acting against Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee and Wang Ji Hye. Although he is the talent who is excellent in handling matters and with gentleman poise, but as the time passes by, changes occur with the surroundings.

Kim Jaejoong’s first domestic drama had attracted lots of attention. He, who debuted as an actor through Japan’s drama, “In Japan, all the staffs are Japanese. Therefore they miraculously looked at me and treated me very well. If I were to say a similarity between acting in Korea and Japan, it would be that both treat me especially well,” saying this while laughing. He also talked about the most worrying thing in domestic drama. “Because Japanese and native language are not the same, it was less burdened on the contrary. It is a domestic drama and although it is my own country, I am afraid that I might speak wrongly thus I am rather worried about this.”

In the revealed video, Kim Jaejoong’s expression and talking were very natural. To this, Kim Jaejoong laughed and praised himself, “Today is my first time watching the edited video, it is not too bad.”, “It doesn’t seems to be me. The person (meaning Kim Jaejoong himself) in the video, is quite good.”

Though the attention was on Kim Jaejoong’s first domestic drama, the fans’ gifts placed at the production press conference garnered even more attention. Both domestic and international fans have sent rice wreaths to support Kim Jaejoong’s drama, expressing their support.

It is a common sight in idol-participated activities to see rice wreaths but it was a large-scale support on that day. The amount of rice wreaths sent in was a total of 6.56 tonne.

Well wishes from fans such as “Wish for big success”, “Hope that it will be a great success”, “It’s Cha Mu Won time”, were seen on it. A total of 80 groups of Kim Jaejoong and JYJ fanclubs have sent the 6.56 tonnes of rice. They did not just sent the rice wreaths. They donated the rice to the less fortunate under the name of Kim Jaejoong after the activity.

Kim Jaejoong will be changing from his charismatic stage performance into a capable gentleman Cha Mu Won through this drama. Although he have attained popularity in Japan’s drama, the domestic reviews might be different. Whether he is able to present a satisfied acting to the viewers and himself, has attracted a lot of concerns.

110727 Kim Jaejoong, “Targeting New Actor Award? I Have No Desire.”‏

JYJ’s member and actor Kim Jaejoong expressed his zero desire for the new actor award.

Kim Jaejoong revealed his thoughts on debuting in domestic drama at the production press conference held on the 27th afternoon at Seoul’s SBS Mu Dong building for SBS new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect The Boss’ (Script by Kwon Ki Young and directed by Son Jung Hyun).

Although he had acting experiences through last year’s Japan Fuji TV’s ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’ and acted with Han Hyo Joo in the movie ‘Heaven’s Postman’, but it is his first act in domestic drama and thus had the extraordinary sentiment.

Kim Jaejoong expressed, “It seems that I am starting to have the desire to achieve the new actor award but since this is my first challenge, isn’t it bad to have the thought of getting the award?”, “I have never gotten any other award in school other than the perfect attendance award.”

He continued humbly, “I am working at this as a total new acting experience and therefore I am learning a lot from the senior actors such as Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, Wang Ji Hye etc.”

He talked about the difference between acting in Japan and domestically, “Acting in Japan was not done with my native language and on the contrary, my burden was lessened. But with the responsibility of performing well in my native language, I was therefore nervous every time.”

Additionally, Kim Jaejoong received a piece of special acting advice from JYJ member and actor Park Yoochun who acted recently in the popular ‘Miss Ripley’. To this, he said, “Have to practice on not sleeping due to the overnight filming. After the conclusion of this work, I plan to go on a holiday with the members.”
Kim Jaejoong is acting as the composed Cha Mu Won who is the 3rd generation of the conglomerate and his character surrounds the power struggle and involvement with Ji Sung’s Cha Ji Hyun, who is related as first cousin.

He relayed his thoughts, saying, “When I first joined in, I envied the free-spirited and a bit nonsensical character of Cha Ji Hyun.” He continued, “I am still unable to adapt and have to act according to the director’s expressions. The other actors are doing very well and it seems that if I am able to work hard, it will be fine.”

‘Protect The Boss’ which involves Ji Sung, Kim Jaejoong, Choi Kang Hee, Wang Ji Hye etc, will be taking over the broadcast timeslot of SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘City Hunter’, premiering on the 3rd of August.

110724 Interview with JYJ’s Jaejoong in Khan News

Khan News recently held an interview with Kim Jaejoong. The interview discussed the premise behind “Protect the Boss,” as well as the preparations and anxiety that Jaejoong had to face for the drama. The translated article from Khan News can be found below:

Because he had been spending his entire day filming for his drama “Protect the Boss,” he did not even have time to eat at all. However, he also said that he did not have much of an appetite anyway. Although Jaejoong has maintained his image of being a singer, this will be his first time acting in a drama. Because of this, he is actually very nervous.

August 3rd will mark the debut of Jaejoong as a 2nd generation businessman, Cha Muwon, in the drama “Protect the Boss”. Although Jaejoong has acted in the telecinema “Heaven’s Postman” and in the Japanese drama, “Sunao Ni Narenakute,” since this will be his first Korean drama, this can still be seen as his first time acting in a drama.

Jaejoong stated, “During the JYJ World Tour, I was reading the script for this drama and I thought it was hilarious. The writers have taken a normally serious business setting and turned it into something very fun. I also like the fact that each character seems to have their own role that breathes life into the drama.”

“Protect the Boss” is a romantic comedy that centers around the protagonist, Eunsul, played by actress Choi Kanghee, who is a freeloader that begins to work in the business industry with hilarity ensuing. Jaejoong’s role of Cha Muwon is a bit foolish but is also a “chadonam” (cold and chic city guy). This character is someone who may have the same qualities as Joowon from “Secret Garden” and Dok Gojin from “The Greatest Love”. For this reason, Jaejoong purposely did not watch those two dramas. Instead of watching those dramas, Jaejoong ended up watching the movie “Mutt Boy” many times. After watching veteran actors like Kim Gabsoo, who is currently acting in the sitcom “All My Love,” Jaejoong thought that would also want to try roles similar to what he saw in the movie.

Although Yoochun is a fellow member of Jaejoong in JYJ, he is still a sunbae in terms of dramas as he has acted in both “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “Miss Ripley”. Jaejoong said, “I get lots of questions about whether I will be able to do better than Yoochun. This is, of course, a lot of pressure for me, but Yoochun is my sunbae. When Yoochun was filming for dramas, he had to deal with a ‘death schedule’. Because of this, Yoochun told me, ‘Hyung, it’s your turn to die’.”

Kim Jaejoong has also shown his abilities in being a director. In the recent JYJ World Tour Concert 2011 and Son Yeonjae’s (the female gymnast) rhythm gymnastics show, Jaejoong showed his abilities in directing to everyone. Because he was also a singer who would be performing on the stage that he was directing for, he was able to think of many ideas for the performance.

Although there have been many opportunities for Jaejoong to show off his abilities in many different areas, he still feels sad. This sadness is also felt by his other JYJ members. This is because they are not able to promote their songs freely as other singers do.

Jaejoong stated, “Although we have lots of issues with our activities as a singer, we have tried to accept and deal with these problems. Luckily, we have been trying other fields, like acting and musicals, and we are able to learn a lot from these experiences. I believe that it is very fun to find where my talents lie as I go through life. Even if it’s a small thing, if I am able to find the joy in it, I can make other people watching happy as well.

Jaejoong, Multi-Talented. Of Acting, and Cha Muwon in Relation to Himself

Interview

JYJ’s “Multi-Talented Hyung” Kim Jaejoong. Continuing from Directing, This Time Acting. He Knocks On the TV Screen as a 2nd Generation Chaebol.

At the time of the interview with JYJ last year, the other two members, Junsu and Yoochun, all singularly pointed to Jaejoong to call him “multi-talented hyung.” They also made assurances that because Jaejoong has so many talents, his true worth will start to reveal itself one by one starting the next year. The predictions by the members hit the mark. Kim Jaejoong was the last one among JYJ to begin his solo activities, but he has been the most diverse. After acting as the executive director of JYJ’s World Tour Concert, he recently also took on the directing for the gymnastics gala show of Sohn Yeonjae, the fairy of the rhythmic gymnastics. As long as he is out, he plans to show off himself as an actor starting August. Kim Jaejoong knocks on the TV scene in the role of Cha Muwon, the second generation of the preeminent chaebol groups of Korea, in the SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama that will first air on August 3rdProtect the Boss. He is a perfect man, who lacks not physical beauty, wealth, character, or anything else.

“The character is called a Cold City Man, but he is not unconditionally cold and cool-headed. He is an innocent man—who, even though he has a competitive mindset against his older cousin Jihun when it comes to work, shows a goofy side when they are together. He is cold only on the outside—when you get to know him, he is someone with a warm heart.”

The love triangle that will unfold surrounding the female lead Eunsul, played by Choi Kanghee, will also be a sight to see.

“Because it has not been that long since filming began, the character of Cha Muwon is not yet sharply defined. The inside of me is distracted and frantic. I had many conversations with the director-nim and the writer-nim. The acting is acting, but it seems that they were looking for Cha Muwon from inside of me, through everyday conversation. From episode 3 and 4, you will be able to catch a glimpse inside Cha Muwon of the true person of Kim Jaejoong.”

This is not his first acting. He stepped out onto acting for the first time with the collaborative movie between Japan and Korea of 2009, Heaven’s Postman. He also collaborated with Japan’s stars such as Ueno Juri and Eita in Japan’s Fuji TV drama Sunao Ni Narenakute in 2010. However he emphasized that his beginning as a real actor is with Protect the Boss.

Heaven’s Postman was my debut work but despite that I was not able to have the mindset or the preparation fit for an actor. I went to filming without preparation, having merely memorized the lines in a rush—that was not respect due to acting. As for Sunao Ni Narenakute, I am satisfied with it because I was able to go into it with a sufficient period of preparation. But I do feel a bit wanting since the ratings were not as high as hoped for. Protect the Boss is a work that I am going into after having gone through a series of processes, and as such my attachment to the project is large. My heart is also fluttering at the thought that I am showing the work to the domestic fans.”

Kim Jaejoong discarded the thoughts that he would do overly well. He will be satisfied if he, without awkwardness, merely melds in well with the other great/superb sunbaes who are appearing in the drama. His acting teacher Ahn Naesang told him: “You should not act as if it is acting. Do not act as if it is acting.” The meaning of those words is only vague, but he plans to dwell and reexamine it as he keeps acting. Right now his head is completely filled with acting.

“At the time of Yoochun’s Miss Ripley all of the members together caught the first episode. As for myself I will definitely not have that happen. Even now, when I show something to the members, I have the nervous tension that is higher than to any other. I plan to watch it alone, in hiding. Haha.”

For Jaejoong, who says that it took him too long even to decide just what kind of musical style he likes, the question of what kind of an actor he wishes to become is yet difficult.

“It is only the beginning yet. Now is the first start of a new challenge, and as such, I want to come to know the answer as I do it step by step.”

110713 Kim Jaejoong Doesn’t Forget His Fan Service… “Yoochun, Make An Appearance In Our Drama”

JYJ’s fans must be extremely happy right now because JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong(25) will be appearing in his first Korean drama.

He will be expanding his playing field by taking on the role of Cha Mu Won, ‘the prince of the financial world’, in SBS TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect the Boss’. His character is in an antagonistic relationship with his cousin Cha Ji Hun(Jisung) because of a family feud that began with their parents over the running of the conglomerate.

“Though this is my first Korean drama appearance, I don’t feel any pressure or weight on my shoulders. Shall I say that I feel a sense of nervousness? Of course, I do feel a little pressured about having our drama’s viewer ratings compared to that of ‘City Hunter’ because that drama is doing so well. But my greed to take on my character well is bigger than my greed to succeed.”

As he has showcased his charisma in countless performances, he is broad-minded whether he is acting or singing. But his face filled with worry when he was reminded that Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu have become hits in the drama and musical industries respectively.

He smiled and said, “When I think about the whole situation with only myself in perspective, I don’t feel pressured but when I’m reminded that the other guys have done so well, I suddenly feel a weight on my shoulders,” and “I can’t help but feel pressured when we get compared to each other.”

Kim Jaejoong has gotten his feel for acting through the 2009 movie ‘Postman to Heaven’ and the Fuji TV’s ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’. Already been praised for his Japanese drama debut, the rumors of his entry into the domestic drama industry have been endless till now.

But because of his world tour schedule, Kim Jaejoong had to reject over ten productions. Therefore, the fact that he has finally decided on a drama has his fans excited and ecstatic. Kim Jaejoong says that the drama’s storyline, content and his character fits him well.

(omitted for repetition)

What kind of advice did the other members give him as fellow actors, not singers? Kim Jaejoong said, “Honestly, I don’t think we’re in the position to give each other advice as actors. All of us are still in the learning process so we just tell each other ‘Work hard,’ or ‘Do your best.’

Kim Jaejoong is still not confident about himself as an actor. But he says that he doesn’t feel more nervous at venues with a larger crowd. “I don’t feel nervous at concert venues with 50,000~60,000 people. But when that number falls to the thousands or hundreds, my nervousness shoots up. There are about 50 people on location when he film for the drama, and I feel like all 100 eyes are staring at me and me only. I’ll have to be able to overcome that.”

JYJ, whose members originate from TVXQ, are known to be one of the most popular groups domestically and overseas. When we asked him if he will be singing or playing an instrument in the drama for his fans, he said that he doesn’t know yet. But he does have something he’d like from fellow team member Park Yoochun.

“He’s working so hard for the drama ‘Miss Ripley’ right now so I don’t know if this will work out, but I would like it if Yoochun could make a surprise appearance in our drama. He’s a director in his drama, so how about he appears in our drama as a director who comes to make a business deal with our company? Director Song, how about you appear just once?“(laughter)

Kim Jaejoong must still like his members who he’s been sharing a house with since 2004. Recently, he moved into the same apartment as Kim Junsu. He joked and said, “Honestly, I didn’t want to move in because Junsu lives there,” but was actually quite delighted to be moving in as he added, “Yoochun was supposed to move into the apartment after Junsu and he didn’t because of personal reasons. I was luckily able to get a house because someone moved out.

He had one more service for his fans. He said, “From what I know, we’re planning on releasing an album before the drama is over,” and emphasized that he will not be abandoning his activities as a singer.

But for now, his acting comes first. Kim Jaejoong said, “When singers make acting debuts, some people still see them as singers,” and “I worry that people will still see me as a singer, so I will work hard to mesh well with my fellow actors.”

110713 Part 1: Kim Jaejoong’s First Acting In Korean Drama, Proclaim Self As Newcomer In Acting Industry‏

Rolled into one with dancing ability, outstanding looks and Japanese fluency plus the benevolence character, he was widely praised by the public.

As a member of top idol group JYJ, never was there a tinge of arrogance in attitude. Facing every questions by the reporter seriously and carefully, giving his replies with a smile, he is Kim Jaejoong.

Kim Jaejoong stepped into the drama field after acting in Fuji TV drama ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’ and recently news of him acting in SBS TV drama spread, making it his first starring in mainstream drama. Returning with a new identity as a actor, although he expressed that ‘his anxiety is giving him goose bumps’ but his good mood can be easily seen from his talk.

“You said it just now that there would be pressure due to the first challenge in domestic drama but to say that it is pressure, such kind of negative feeling, I would rather say that it is a new feeling that is due to anxiety. Until now, I was not able to have that carefree and self-confidence from standing on the stage as a singer, I think that is a very lacking phase right now. But upon starting this new work, it’s still very exciting.”

Collaborating with Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, Wang Ji Hye in this new drama, Kim Jaejoong acts as ‘Prince of Financial World’ Cha Mu Won, and was first cousins with Cha Ji Hyun (Ji Sung). With regards to this character, Kim Jaejoong explained that he was a gentleman to others but had that cold and merciless king-like manner. “Although Cha Mu Won is unpredictable, he has a simple child-like side of him. Him having two sides of his personality is very different from me. On the other hand, Ji Sung hyung’s character as Cha Ji Hyun is more alike to myself personally, i.e. love to joke around.”

JYJ funniest member Kim Jaejoong, 4D baby faced beauty Choi Kang Hee, with the addition of Ji Sung who can control the on-site atmosphere anytime, there should not be any cold moments in the set of ‘Protect the Boss’. “Filming has just started so I did not get to meet the fellow actors and veteran actors, but the good atmosphere is still the same as during the script reading practice, the laughters did not ceased. Teacher Cha Hwa Yeon and Teacher Park Yong Kyu gave me vey good advices, I hope to perform well and always be likeable by everyone.”

In order to receive love from the veteran actors and viewers throughout the filming, Kim Jaejoong has been putting in his best effort and got to learn about acting from actor Ahn Nae Sang through the introduction by the director. Ahn Nae Sang acted as Park Yoochun’s teacher in KBS 2TV drama, ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, thus many fans expressed, “In the drama, he is Park Yoochun’s teacher and in reality he is Kim Jaejoong’s teacher.” To this, Kim Jaejoong smiled, “Yoochun’s teacher is my teacher? It can be said so.”

He continued, “When he was teaching me, he would very frequently speak of Yoochun. He said in the beginning, Yoochun was not used to the way people speaks in historical drama, but he got better later. Although I was happy for him, but the more I felt pressurized,” joking while revealing a bit of his true voice in him.

Park Yoochun, who is currently filming MBC TV Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Miss Ripley’, received awards from KBS TV Drama Award and Baeksang Arts Award through ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ and gained his place in the acting field. Kim Junsu has also received musical awards based on his musicals ‘Tears of Heaven’ and ‘Mozart’. As compared to the other two members, Kim Jaejoong who debuted in the acting field slightly later, envied the two of them. “Yoochun has to film the drama in between the schedule of the World Tour, and looked very exhausted. Therefore when I said I am going to film a drama, he jokingly said that ‘you will become like that too, you should try, hahaha.’ Junsu would send me encouraging messages and jokes copied from the internet. It’s because of them that I felt practical.”

“I feel that I am a newborn who just stepped into this territory, I will continue to work hard and hopefully everyone will continue to support me.”

110713 Jaejoong, Slept With Ji Sung In Underwear… Twice‏

Kim Jaejoong will be completing his first acting in domestic drama with SBS TV ‘Protect The Boss’. He tried his first acting in movie ‘Heaven’s Postman’ (2009) and later gained results through Fuji TV ‘Hard To Say I Love You’.

Appearing as chaebol successors, ‘Cha Mu Won’ Kim Jaejoong and ‘Cha Ji Hyun’ Ji Sung (34) are first cousins. They were rivals due to their parents’ feud for control of management. There was power struggle with Ji Sung hyung but in reality, I became closer with hyung.
I was not able to be closer fast, due to the awkward atmosphere but hyung initiated to become closer to me,” expressing his thanks.

The chance to become closer to Ji Sung was during the MT gathering with the actors and staffs. “Before the official filming begins, I went to the MT gathering organised by Ji Sung hyung. In the beginning, we were just the relationship of senior and junior, but after we drank alcohol, it became the situation where we slept in only our underwear.”

“Later on, I practiced the script with hyung, and hyung called, so I went over to his place. That day was also sleeping on hyung’s bed, just wearing underwear. During MT, we slept, saying ‘What’s there to (to worry) between guys?’, the second time we said, ‘It already happened the first time, what’s wrong for the second time,’ rather than becoming closer through pains, we seems to have become closer very fast.”

Kim Jaejoong said that it was a very happy filming site. He have to endure his laughter looking at Ji Sung and Park Young Kyu (58). “Teacher Park Yong Kyu is a cultivated gentleman-like off screen but upon acting, he is very funny. Ji Sung hyung is Teacher Park Yong Kyu’s son and his appearance is a punk, thus his usual lines used proverbs that is unlike a proverb or idiom, the words used for a slang that is unlike a slang would appear too, therefore it is very interesting.”

“Other than Ji Sung hyung’s passionate help, I can feel the care from the others too. Choi Kang Hee noona would leave me a message if she did not managed to say goodbye to me after filming. After the increment of meet-ups, the nervousness gradually decreased. The senior actors were very good to me.”

Kim Jaejoong is currently undergoing the challenge with his new realization. During his filming for ‘Heaven’s Postman’, he was in a status with a lot of thoughts for his singing career thus he has no desire in other fields. Therefore there was neither enough time for filming nor his degree of commitment.

“Nobody told me what a movie is. And it was not a continuous filming. I filmed for a few scenes and returned to being a singer, then returned to filming again. It was done is such a manner. I do not understand/know the continuing emotions of the scenes and filmed it just like that. It also seems that due to my issues, Han Hyo Joo who was filming with me, also lost the enthusiasm. I changed a lot during the drama filming in Japan. I learnt a lot of things and it was a chance for me to be committed as an actor.”

Kim Jaejoong said the message spread by ‘Protect the Boss’ was rather solemn. It not only portrays the sufferings of people seeking employment, it also portrays the troubles of an everyday employee. But there would be laughters and affections in it to share with the viewers, “I think it is such a drama.”

Jaejoong – “Japan Lifestyle” French Magazine

After having spent a long time as a superstar, Jaejoong has become a sex-symbol almost without noticing it.

Which is strange, since from the start, we knew why.

How do you know that a star leave its mark in everyone’s mind? It’s when this star isn’t as much mediatized but keeps being talked about. A mysterious look, a haircut that hides half of his mischievous face, and most of all an (almost) innocent smile: it’s logical that Kim Jaejoong is hard to forget.

The other side of fame’s coin

At a young age, Jaejoong knew what he wanted. Doing what was needed to reach his goal, he leaves his family to start a career in the show-business. But things don’t go as planned. Hired by his favorite group’s agency, he has to take part-time jobs to pay for dansing and singing classes. Eventhough, in december 2003, 2 years and a half after joining SM Entertainment, he becomes a member of TVXQ! Together, the five handsome boys of the group will renew the idea of “boys band” in Korea.

Fame being often accompanied by setbacks, once again he isn’t spared, like when his hurtful past is made known publicly by tabloids. When TVXQ’s popularity is at its top, Jaejoong as well as Yoochun and Junsu, two other members of the group, fill a lawsuit against their agency ***. When in october 2009 the korean Court makes a statement in favor of the three men, the group’s fate is written. Six months later, the break-up is official and the “TVXQ soul” written on his back will prevent him from forgetting this experience.

Renewal

Being the victims of a boycott from media in Korea, the three men, renamed JYJ, travels the world with a big-scale tour that includes China, the United States or Canada.

The other news about Jaejoong are in front of cameras. Late 2009, Postman to Heaven is released. It is his first real part by Hyo-Joo Han’s side. More unusually, a few months later, the young man makes his debuts on japanese TV in Sunao ni Narenakute. His part as a doctor will make him win an award as the best second-lead from the daily newspaper Nikkan Sports. Late 2011, the artist should play the main-lead in Hanbando (T/N the article was probably written before the announce about Protect the Boss), a K-drama about this mysterious national intelligence’s boss in a unified Korea.
