Q: Jaejoong please talk about your new role for the 1st time as the concert director? What have you already prepared?

JJ: I’m very excited because this is my first directing stage and I had quite high expectations for this. Both the staff and I intend to make it succeed and I’d like the fans to see all my efforts and intentions.

Q: Thailand is the 1st country that JYJ starts the world tour concert. Could you please talk about the enormity and the special surprises that you have prepared for Thai fans?   

JJ: We’ve prepared 4 new songs which were composed and produced by ourselves [T/N Junsu was lifting up the Microphone for Jaejoong] for Thai fans. It’s very meaningful to us.

JS: We will sing them for the 1st time in Thailand. So it’s very special and meaningful.

Q: Have you learned new Thai words? Please say something

Q: What is JYJ future plan for the fans to be cheerful about? (regarding works/activities)

JJ: We’d really like to answer you but it really can’t be revealed right now.
YC: because we have prepared it as a surprise to the fans.

Q: Anything you’d like to tell to Thai fans?

YC: This is the beginning of JYJ World Tour concert which has started in Thailand and after this we’re not sure which country is next because we will go back to Korea first. Jaejoong has been responsible for being the director and also composed new type of songs so we must be prepared for the new album.

JS: This is the 1st stage in Thailand. The staff and all of us are very excited and we will try our very best. I’d like to thank to the fans who came to the concert and have waited for us this long. From now off we will try to be the JYJ that the fans accept and want us to be. Thank you very much.

Q: Have you had any time to do what you wanted to?

JS: I have done some, but what I really wanted to do but couldn’t is to walk along the streets in Bangkok eating BBQ pork just like Thai people.

YC: When we were together, we’d like to joke that we wished to have a house in Thailand.

JS: If I had a house in Thailand, I’d grow coconut trees in my house so that I could eat coconut every day.  JJ: I came to Thailand early that other members to do what I wanted to, but there’s one staff that told me if I’ve already done everything, then I don’t have to come back to Thailand anymore. So I’m going to leave something here, so that I can come back to Thailand again. I’ve already planned out what I would do if I get the chance to come back to Thailand next time.

Chang Drinking Water presents 2011 JYJ World Tour Concert in Thailand along with its organizer, 411 Entertainment Co., Ltd. With his popularity as one of the most well-known Korean celebrity, how can Jaejoong, one of three members of JYJ, arrive unnoticed by the eyes and ears of these fans? On March 20, 2011 (2 pm.) at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok, the hottest artist from South Korea, Kim Jaejoong, one of the three members of JYJ, arrived in Thailand on board flight TG659. The sole purpose of his surprising visit to Thailand is to participate in a preparatory meeting for 2011 JYJ World Tour Concert in Thailand which is organized by 411 Entertainment Co., Ltd. and its main sponsor, Chang Drinking Water. It is also co-sponsored by Fanta drink, 12-plus sexy cologne, Siam Center shopping mall and Siam Paragon, Hot 91.5 FM radio station, Renaissance Hotel Bangkok and C-Jes. Aside from the magnificent visual effects, lighting and sound of this upcoming concert, another important behind-the-scene is that Jaejoong has fully taken on the role of a concert director. He will be doing all the hands-on production tasks by himself, especially in Thailand which is the first country to start off this world tour concert. Our boy Jaejoong is exceptionally determined and flew straight to Thailand before the other two members, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu. The staff of 411 Entertainment Co., Ltd., led by its CEO Mr. Kung-Chalermchai Mahagitsiri, and Thai fans were greatly impressed by the honor Jaejoong have shown towards Thailand.

From his experience in music industry for more than 7 years, Jaejoong, who has been working with uncountable skillful staff and personally interested in preparing stage show, has continuously learned and got many experiences. This is the inspiration that let this young man step on the role behind the stage. It began with co-stage directing and partaking in visual effect with staff from US showcases , concert in Japan, and the latest large-scale concert in Seoul, South Korea. This world tour is the expand version of JYJ latest concert which were co-planned by Jeri Slaughter, the director of JYJ concert in Seoul. This time, all stages and shows will be directed by such good-looking director, Kim Jaejoong. It seems like a challenging task for him. Jaejoong said that “Stage director must be responsible for the continuity between each show, from the beginning to the end. All the staff also share that effort but I plan to do this with new concept: to do the work of 100 with only 1. This could be done by sound-controlling, composing, including arranging the music between each performance. The propose of my early arrival at Thailand, ahead of my 2 friends, Yuchun and Junsu, is to get everything ready and make it become the best for fans. I hope that all fans will attend and cheer us, JYJ, for this opening concert of the world tour in Thailand, on 2nd and 3rd of April.”

Kung Chalermchai, young-blood CEO of 411 Entertainment revealed his feeling about this concert preparation trip of Jaejoong that 411 feels honored and very impressed. He’s never heard of any Korean artist taking part in concert preparation by himself before. Yunho's Bag for KRW1,000,000; TVXQ is Also Exremely Popular in Thailand

TVXQ Yunho's hand-carry bag made the record for the highest bid of KRW1,000,000* at the "Charity Auction by Hallyu Stars for Flood Victims", held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The "Korea Festival" was held from 30 November - 5 December and it is organised by the Thai-Korean Embassy and the Korea Thailand Communication Centre (KTCC), with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. This auction was organised to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Thai soldiers who fought in the Korean War, as well as give aid to 3,000,000 flood victims.

Cherished items were collected from top Thai stars and popular Hallyu stars like TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, Kim Rae Won, Cho Hyunjun and Lee Junki.

The highest amount recorded at the charity auction went to a small hand-carry leather bag and even though there are no special decorations, just by the fact that it had been touched by Yunho's hand, it was sold at the high price of KRW1,000,000.

Lee Yoohyun, the representative for the KTCC, said, "It was an event where the Hallyu stars could confirm the great love from the Thai fans. Simple items like hats and t-shirts were auctioned off at prices ranging from KRW30,000 - KRW1,000,000.

Meanwhile, the items received from 130 Hallyu stars raised KRW24,000,000 in total and items from Art Korea artists by the Korea-Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Thai branch of the Institute for National Unification raised KRW28,000,000. This fund will be passed to the headquarters of the task force for the Thailand flood on 8 December.
